May is the 'month of Mary' and, according to my mother,
we are to be on the lookout for miracles.
I think I found one.
It seems that ARCIC, the group of Anglican and
Catholic theologians who study the doctrinal obstacles
to the ecumenical efforts of the two churches, has
come to an agreement on the place of the Virgin Mary
in tradition.
The paper is called "Mary: Grace and Hope in Christ".
That's the miracle?
No.
The miracle is that I read it in
yesterday's NY Times.
